Grand Valley State University Laker Early Bird

On Friday, December 5th, the Men's Running Club of Notre Dame wrapped up its season for all its runners at the Grand Valley State Laker Early Bird Invite. The men fielded two runners in the 5k (C. Wintheiser and J. Riordan) and two runners in the Mile (R. Hart and F. Hehir). The GVSU Invite saw the breaking of two club records in both the mile and the 5k. Ryan Hart ran a Personal Record of 4:23.49, besting the previous record by almost 5 seconds. The 5k saw Cole Wintheiser run a 15:30.04, knocking off the 1 year old record by over 9 seconds. NIRCA Nationals 2014

NIRCA Cross Country Nationals were held on Saturday, November 15th at Forest Akers East Golf Course on the campus of Michigan State University. The men fielded a team of 6 runners in the Men's A race, finishing 16th out of 44. The Irish had two NIRCA All-American runners in John Riordan (17th overall) and Cole Wintheiser (27th overall). NIRCA Regionals 2014

The Running Club of Notre Dame Men's and Women's teams after finishing their races at NIRCA Regionals in Lexington, Kentucky. The conditions were far from ideal, but it was a fun trip and a great experience for all who went.
